What are PKF Brenson Lawlor looking for in a graduate?

To apply, you should hold a 2:1 degree in a business related discipline (obtained or predicted) and a minimum of 400 points in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent).

What type of training will I receive during my contract?

Your training will primarily consist of on-the-job learning, where you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience with guidance from your mentor, manager and wider team.
Throughout your training contract, you’ll be exposed to all aspects of the work and have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide variety of clients across different sectors.
We also make a conscious effort to link the practical work you are doing with the exams you are sitting, helping you to apply your knowledge in real-world situations.
In addition to this practical experience, we provide dedicated training days each year, as well as department-specific training to ensure you build strong technical knowledge and skills. The exact focus of your training will vary depending on the department you are working in, giving you tailored development alongside broader firm-wide experience.

Yes, we can provide all the necessary documentation to support your work permit application. Please note, however, that we are unable to provide financial support for the application itself.

We offer generous study leave tailored to your exam path, typically ranging from one to two weeks per exam, plus the exam day itself. Our study support goes above and beyond both the industry standard and the recommended guidelines set by accountancy bodies.

How long is a Training Contract with PKF Brenson Lawlor?

The length of the training contract varies between 3 and 3.5 years, depending on your prior educational qualifications.

Where will I be based?

You will be primarily based in our Ballsbridge office in Dublin 4, with occasional visits to client sites depending on the nature of your work.
