The Role
We are looking to hire a Corporation Tax Manager who will fit into our growing team of professionals providing a high level of service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tax Compliance Management – Oversee and review all areas of corporation tax ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant legislation. Manage tax audits, compliance obligations, and risk exposure effectively across client portfolios.
• Tax Provision and Reporting – Lead the preparation and review of tax provisions, tax calculations, ensuring timely and compliant reporting.
• Tax Advisory – Provide tax advice to clients on general and complex tax issues while identifying opportunity for optimization.
• Technical Expertise and Leadership – Expert understanding of all aspects of Corporation Tax including but not limited to Interest Limitation rules, Country-By-Country Reporting, Transfer Pricing / SME exemption, Close Company provisions, Double Tax relief, Group relief.
• Client Relationship Management – Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Serve as a key point of contact to understand their commercial objectives, address issues promptly, and deliver high-calibre service.
• Cross-Firm Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues across all teams to deliver integrated solutions, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across multi-disciplinary projects.
• Risk Management and Quality Assurance – Ensure all work complies with firm’s risk management, quality control, and ethical policies. Anticipate potential compliance risks and propose mitigating actions.
• Regulatory and Legislative Awareness – Monitor developments in tax legislation and regulatory changes, interpreting their impact on client activities and advising on necessary adaptations.
• Team Leadership and Development – Lead, mentor, and develop tax teams to deliver exceptional client service. Provide technical training, performance feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
Candidate Profile:
• CTA qualified with management experience
• Proficient in the provision of compliance services.
• Excellent training / mentoring skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong computing skills, including excel, word and tax applications.
• Ability to work as part of a busy team and highly motivated.
• Excellent delegation skills and ability to manage and develop junior members of the team.
• Excellent business development and relationship management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A drive to develop and progress in a career in tax.
