PKF Brenson Lawlor is pleased to announce the appointment of Paula Sheanon as Head of Payroll in the firm’s Business Solutions division, enhancing our payroll services.
Paula joins the firm with over 15 years of experience in the rapidly evolving field of payroll, having honed her skills at different Irish businesses over the course of her career.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time for Irish businesses, with the introduction of the Auto-Enrolment Pension Scheme in January 2026 set to significantly impact payroll processes nationwide. In addition, increased digitisation, evolving tax compliance requirements, and the demand for real-time reporting continue to reshape how payroll teams operate. PKF Brenson Lawlor’s Business Solutions division has been proactively expanding its expertise to help clients navigate these changes seamlessly.
On joining the firm, Paula commented: “I’m delighted to be joining PKF Brenson Lawlor. I am transformation focused and I thrive on a fast-paced work environment and building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
“As the world of payroll becomes increasingly complex, it has become more important than ever to provide reliable and legislatively compliant services to clients. Joining the team at PKF Brenson Lawlor allows me to continue doing exactly that.”
Han Fei Zhang, Head of the Business Solutions division, and who has been with PKF Brenson Lawlor for close to two decades, commented: “I'm delighted to welcome Paula Sheanon as our new Head of Payroll Services. Paula's considerable experience will be invaluable as we look to grow the payroll team and strengthen our service offering. I've no doubt she will make a significant contribution to this important chapter for the department.”
Paula’s appointment reflects PKF Brenson Lawlor’s ongoing commitment to investing in people and expertise to deliver exceptional service to clients as the firm continues to grow its presence in the Irish market.
